 Do not Purchase this garage! December 31, 2008
This garage is the worst of worse! Very difficut to put together and it was made in China. They give you flat screw heads to fit in pointed screw holes and many more problems. Had to superglue the ramps on and then they even fell off. Very unsturdy and a piece of JUNK! Returned the item for a refund!

went together pretty well, as other reviews have said, ramps don't stay on well but a little glue will solve that. It is a nice product but if I had to do it over I would get something plastic that would snap together easier and wouldn't seem as fragile. Have to be careful when putting it on a table or the screws on the bottom will scratch the surface you set it on. Best on a carpeted floor

We got this for my 3 year old. It went together easily-we didn't have trouble with the elevator, like others have mentioned. He played with it for HOURS after receiving it. It seems to be very sturdy. The ramps fall off a bit more easily than I would prefer, but that can easily be fixed with a little glue. I would highly recommend this garage!

Although I paid more than I had previously paid for the identical item in a local discount store, it is still solid wood and well made. I'm sure this will be a favorite toy for the boys age 4. Delivery was prompt and "free".

We just gave this to my son for his 3rd birthday party. He really adores it. We did not have any of the above mentioned problems regarding fit and finish with this product. It went together easily, although my husband did get confused which poles to screw in at first, but was able to figure it out on his own. No problems with misaligned holes or screws or the elevator being too tight of a fit.
It is very cute and for the price I paid for it at my local TJ Maxx store ($[...]), I thought it was an excellent buy. My only complaint is that the car wash seems to have been missing from the box. I do not really understand how this happened, since everything was shrink wrapped (which would have made it obvious if someone has tampered with the box). So, obviously, this was something overlooked by the employees who packed the box. I will be calling ALEX CS to ask them to send me the missing car wash. Otherwise, it's a very nice toy. We are big on wooden toys in our family and my boys' match box cars and thomas/brio trains all fit perfectly on this toy. We will be putting it alongside their wooden train track as an accessory item.
