Little racers can use their imaginations to bring to life the action-packed world of racing with the Spin 'N Crash Raceway. Boys are in the driver's seat as they control all the thrills and spills around the figure-eight track. Turn the on/off ignition key, use the easy-grip shifter that changes speeds from "fast" to "faster" speeds, and press the "crash" button on the shifter box to activate realistic racing and crashing sounds. Pull over in the pit stop area overlooking the grandstands for a "quick fix" -- just use the elevating car lift and touch the mechanic's wrench for fun fix-it sounds. An easy-off ramp in the front adds to the fun and extends race-car outside the track. Raceway includes two colorful racing vehicles and two articulated Little People driver figures dressed in colors to match their team's car. Figures bend and twist to fit perfectly inside their vehicles. Playset also includes a racing gate anchored with cones, four flags in team colors and a sign. All play pieces fit in figures' hands and in other areas around the playset. Vehicles store securely behind grandstand for take-along fun. Requires four "C" batteries, not included.

 Bad quality January 6, 2009
Bought this item new,took it out of the box and only one turntable worked. I had a very disapointed 2 year old at Christmas. After reading the reviews I returnd the item and did not get another. It looks like many are having problems with them working properly. Don't waste your time.
Only Worked Ten Minutes January 2, 2009
Bought this for our 2 1/2 year old grandson for Christmas. He loved it, but it only worked ten minutes when the tracks locked up and would not spin. Returned to the store!
Hmmm. . . December 29, 2008
I will say that my 20 month old son does really like this toy. He loves to put blocks and other toys on it to watch them spin around. However, the cars that come with the toy get stuck on the track every time. They are too big for the track size. So I'm very unhappy with this toy considering the price. I really expected more from the little people line. . . very disappointing.

I purchased this item for a Christmas present for my 2 year old son even after I read the reviews about how it quit working. And I wish I had taken everyone's advice. Directly out of the box only one of the tracks would spin. My husband had put the batteries in and turned it on and from there I placed it on the kids table. I never saw both tracks spin however my husband said he saw both spin after he turned it on. So I'm thinking ours worked for maybe 2 seconds. The kids never even touched the toy before it broke. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about this because I ordered it and the kids are sure Santa brought this item. So how do you return something to Santa??? The kids did seem to like what little it did do and I do see where it would of been fun if only it had worked. I'm hope I'll have resolution to this issue. But.... buyers beware!!!!

I would have to agree with the other person that gave this a one star review, this piece of junk only work about 6 hours before the track quit spinning. I've replaced the batteries with new one 5 or 6 times before I completely gave up. It does make plenty of noise however, but my three year old son is completely disappointed with this. Nice Christmas gift Fisher Price---only if you would like to be a scrooge. Stay away from this toy.
