Lego Racer is fun but short battery life January 2, 2009
Product is fun, fast and easy to assemble. The only complaint I have is it takes 5-6 hrs to charge and will only run for about 10-15 minutes. Others reviews I read indicated a run time of about 40 minutes but that hasn't been my experience.
Best Racer Ever November 4, 2008
My son received this for his 5th birthday and absolutely loves it. He has had a few other remote control cars already so age limits did not really apply to him. He loves the control, speed and ruggedness of this vehicle.
The only down side is that the battery only lasts 30min at best.

I bought this for my 12yr old son and have to say that I couldn't wait for him to open the present and assemble it. He had it assembled in 20 minutes and then we charged the battery. We almost had a fight about who is going to play with it first as this toy is so goood. It is very fast, very realistic and reacts instantly to the remote control.
We havent tried at much of a terrain yet though. Also, I'm kind of scared to let it go through water. The only disappointment came when we found out that due to the fact that the body of car is quite low compared to the wheels, it cant climb over certain obstacles where the body would block it.
Also the battery life, could be better, as due to the high output and great speed, the battery goes off pretty quickly and it takes another 3h to recharge it again.
But it is a great toy for any kid and many grownups

I bought this for my husband's birthday, and he absolutely loves it. Its durable. And the battery lasts for about 40 minutes after being fully charged.
 Major Problem with Right Turn September 20, 2007

From the first day I encountered a major problem. Once the car makes right turn from going straight, the car immediately stops and won't move until I manually turn the front wheel to the left. Whenever the wheel move to the extreme right, it stucks and won't move back. I thought this problem might disappear if I disassemble it and assemble it again. But, the problem persisted. The car can go straight and make left turn, but unable to make right turn is not so useful. I wish someone can provide me a solution for this problem.
The other problem was that the battery pack only last for 30 min. operation. This seems too short.
