GREAT starter r/c vehicle December 27, 2008
We purchased this for our son for Christmas, he is 2 1/2. He LOVES it! The remote is perfect for toddler age, it has 2 options ~ forward and turn. Simple and large buttons for a toddler to use, realistic racecar sounds. This worked equally well on our ceramic tile floor and our carpeted living room.
HIGHLY recommend as a first remote control vehicle! Will definitely teach the concept of control, and increase fine motor and spatial relations!

My 3 year old got this as an early Christmas gift from his aunt and uncle. It's so easy for him to maneuver..it goes forward straight and when going backwards it kind of turns a bit so you can turn the car around if you need to. It seems to go through batteries fast and doesn't have a lot of speed, but that's perfectly fine for a 3 year old. It runs slower on carpeting than it does on a hard floor but that's o.k. too. My 7 year old and 19 month old daughters are also enjoying playing with it! I don't know why the store listed is selling it for almost $75, I think my brother and SIL paid around $25.00 for it.

I bought this for my 2yr old's birthday. It's easy to operate and he loves it. Not a whole lot of power with it, but he seems to like it okay.

I got this car for my son's 2nd birthday, and he loves it. There's only 2 buttons- one to go straight, the other to turn around- so it's easy for him to maneuver. This car has taken falls and you'd never know it- it continues to run regardless. Small children can be rough on their toys, but this one stands up to the challenge.
