I remember this simple, compact and portable Magic Drawing Slate as a child and took it everywhere I went. Now with 3 grandchildren (ages 3, 5, and 6) they have hours and hours of fun with it. Great for travel, we play tic tac toe, practice their alphabets, number counting and names, draw countless imaginary animals, and things that they experience, etc. It has a handy stylus holder, very wipeable screen, charming thumbnail drawings that dot the frame. While visiting a 5-year old niece during the holidays, she played with it in the car ride to the restaurant. She's a convert now. Mom and dad were amazed how engaging it was.
finally found - magic slate item November 2, 2008
Finally found a source for this "magic slate" item. My kids LOVE this product. With no messy pens/ink to ruin their clothes. A fun source of continuing enjoyment -- the slates are kept in my car for their entertainment while traveling to/from school, shopping, everywhere.
